So, with the airplane crisis going on how does a girl stay beautiful? With the new restrictions on carry on liquid items such as hair gloss, shampoo, conditioner, lip gloss and perfume. What is a girl to do?
Sephora has just composed a list of airplane friendly beauty products. They make it fun and easy to stick to the new carry-on guidelines. Here is the link :
Now for those who don’t know we are not allowed to carry-on liquid items (3 oz or less) each and all must fit into a quart sized CLEAR PLASTIC bag (7.5 ” x 8 “)
GOSH (Just when u thought it was save to bring on your of radioactive shake-for-explosion pint of smoke flavored gloss. Bummers!)
U can just do it yourself without paying for the sephora products and find less expensive pieces that will do the same thing. (I love beauty supply and drugstore products) Just make sure u don’t break the 3 oz rule ladies! Just in time for my trip next week. Can’t figure out if I’m going to Dallas or Detroit.
Happy hunting ladies! ![]()

I’m lovin it! Great info sis! And tell me about it! I’ve not traveled lately and I knew I’d forget and be up at security upset because I packed what didn’t belong!

Also, Ra Ra:
I know enough about Amel Larrieux to know that I adore her! I love her Bravebird album. That encouraged me a lot in January 2005. She is a great vocalist, beautiful and humble.
And I love Rachel Roy too (can’t afford her rags) but I dig what she is bringing to the market place…chic modesty.
I’m really feeling that. My taste is a cross between Rachel Roy and thrift-store chic. I like wearing cargo pants, army fatig pants, with heels. Or I might rock some combat boots. I’m all over the place with fashion.
I was pursuing modeling at one time (betcha didn’t know). I’ll have to tell you those specifics later. I love photos…I like fashion magazines to look in them for photo ideas.
I saw in the most recent issue of Vogue I think…a beautiful photo of a girl sitting in a pool of water…in a red dress barefoot. It had flowers or something. It was a dope photo. I was attracted to modeling largely because of the stories I could tell in my heart–through taking a picture.
Let’s build on that someday. Hopefully, I’ll get the chance to make some photos in my head a reality–since my view of myself is way different from when I was trying to be a model back in 1994-2000.
Love you
Tish
